PAPER CITY BREWING COMPANY HOLYOKE DAM ALE Draft beer tap handle. Decorated with vintage Harley Davidson motorcycles. After 20 years of making suds the owner retired with no successor. Closed as of 2017. Using the historic 5 story Old mill building built in the 1890′s. It also housed the Winter Palace Theatre and ice rink as well. They were a busy contract brewery for several other popular brands like Backlash, Brewmaster Jack and Glass Bottom brewery. This was their first beer. Paper City Dam Ale. American pale ale that. Pours like copper with notes of citrus. Named after the Holyoke Dam at Hadley Falls. Tap was used a long time ago. It remains in excellent condition and shows only a few faint marks. Please view all 22 photos as they are the best part of the description. This is a model of the Holyoke City Hall Clock Tower at Holyoke Dam on the Connecticut River. It was a Gothic revival structure built in the 1870′s. 220 foot tall tower with a 4000 pound bell. The building is seen mounted on the Paper City Logo over a soccer ball of all things. Not sure what to make of that. Heavy with lots of details. Have never come across another one like it. Tap handle has been turned and rotated so all sides are pictured.
