He stands proudly atop his mining cart full of gold with his trusty pickaxe and an ice-cold Red Dog Ale. The base pole is gold with a silver plate bearing the Red Dog Saloon name with the Red Dog mascot over the swinging bar room doors. Detailing and colors are exquisite. Stands 10-1/2 inches tall. Red Dog Saloon originated during the heydays of Juneau’s mining era in Juneau as a tent on the beach during the gold rush of the late 1800′s.
