CB’S CRAFT BREWERS CAGED ALPHA MONKEY IPA RAGING HOPPED UP MONKEY Draft beer tap handle. Making their appearance early in 1997 as Custom Brewcrafters in Honeoye Falls. Mostly brewing small private labels for local restaurants and bars in the region. 450 barrels the first year, peaking at 9000 barrels a year. Moving across town in 2008. Brewing more than 80 beers for close to 40 Taverns and restaurants. Contract brewing for as many as 9 different breweries in the area. Helping War Horse and Three Heads Brewing get started. Later focusing on their own line of beers like Caged Alpha Monkey IPA. New beer laws in 2012 and 2014 made it easier to open a brewery and they lost a few key accounts. Ultimately with declining sales and other economic factors they decided to close permanently in 2019. Luckily this beer was created in 2014, and they made a super cool tap to pour it with. Caged Alpha Monkey IPA. Known for its bold hop flavor. Sturdy malt base with prominent notes of tropical fruits, grapefruit and citrus. Tap is listed as used. He remains in excellent condition and shows almost no wear. Try to tell him he doesn’t look clean, and he’ll rip your Hop off!! Please view all photos as they are the best part of the description. He was Caged but now he is loose. Busting out with a roar he is seen holding his favorite snuggly hop pillow in the air before running off to find a bar to destroy. The cage is branded with the CB logo and a small hop with lime green IPA graphics on the stone base front and back. Not too many seen lately. Stands about 10-3/4 inches tall.
