PRIMO BEER NATIVE HAWAIIAN CHIEF AND WARRIOR KAIANA SCULPTED draft beer tap handle. Honolulu brewing and malting Company. Primo beer was first introduced in 1901. They were acquired by Schlitz in 1963. A few years later Schlitz built a new brewery in Oahu for primo and other brands. That brewery was closed in 1979 and the brewing moved to L. Stroh’s then got the Primo label when they bought Schlitz in 1982. They discontinued brewing Primo in 1997 and then Pabst acquired them all in 1999. Currently owned by Pabst. Using original recipe from 1897. Tap is brand new in original box. Please view all photos as they are the best part of the description. I believe this came out when Schlitz took over. The Hawaiian warrior Ka’Iana sculpted bust and head ready for battle. Looks like hand-carved island wood. Base is done using blue and yellow with Primo graphics in white script outlined in red. Tap handle has been turned and rotated so all sides are pictured. I try to take great photos and write accurate descriptions so you can judge for yourself. Please look carefully at the photos, this is the actual item you will receive. If the item has noticeable flaws, it will be mentioned in description. I usually respond quite fast. If for any reason you are not satisfied, please contact me first and I will do everything I can to make things right.
