SPANISH PEAKS BREWING BLACK DOG draft beer tap handle. First opening in 1991. First brewed in Montana near the foot of the Spanish Peaks Mountain range. Using CHUG the family’s black lab as their mascot logo and on their flagship handles as well. They packed up and moved operations to California but never pulled it off. American Pale style ale. For an IPA it gives off more of a sweet malt profile. Rumors have it that Black Dog Ale is still being produced by another label. Handle is new and never poured a beer. Excellent condition as seen. There is a small mark next to the “E” in ALE on the front that I don’t think is a scratch. From my personal collection, never displayed. I have the Raspberry on display now. Spanish Peaks Brewing Company is carved deep and dark alongside the raised lettering of Black Dog. Wicked iridescent greenish color tone on this one. He has his name on his collar for identification. The details are amazing. Don’t miss out on this rare piece. They left behind a legend. Stands a dog hair over 11-1/2 inches tall without base. Tap has been turned and rotated till all sides are shown. This is the actual item you will receive. Reweries are popping up all over the place and a select few advertise their Specialty beers with tap handles as nice as this one. Sometimes even factory handles have minor flaws.
