GALVESTON BAY BEER COMPANY GALVESTON JETTY LIGHTHOUSE draft beer tap handle. Clear Lake Shores, Texas. Located right off Galveston Bay. This tap was commissioned in 2019. Pilsner malt with Saaz hops. Crips, clean and refreshing taste. Please view all photos as they are the best part of the description. This is a rendition of the Galveston Jetty Lighthouse in Texas. After more than 14 years of construction through multiple hurricanes and setbacks, it was finally finished and opened in 1918. It was erected upon a 40-foot-tall metal framed structure embedded in a thick concrete base. Electrified in 1969 and automated in 1972 and no longer needing a light keeper. In the 1980′s the historic Fresnel lens was donated to a museum and a storm in 2000 took out the remainder of the lighthouse. Topped with a Captains wheel and a beautiful logo. Appears the same on reverse. Have not seen another. Tap handle has been turned and rotated so all sides are pictured.
