Heinzelmannchen Birch Beer Soda Beer Tap Handle Figural Gnome Tap Handle from the Heinzelmannchen Brewery in Sylva, North Carolina (NC) near Asheville, which closed its doors in 2017. This is a rare piece of local history. Also would be a great addition to a gnome / elf collection! FYI- Heinzelmännchen are gnome-like creatures found in the Black Forest of Germany; rarely seen but always helpful to creatures and people alike. Except for the tip of the hat that broke off and was lost so I couldn’t glue it back on however it broke on the back side so doesn’t really show from the front! , handle is in very good condition.
