SMITTY’S BREWING D-F-T-O-M VENOMOUS COBRA SNAKE Draft beer tap handle. Originally founded in 2016. Veteran owned and operated with 5% of their annual profits going to help homeless vets. Honor, Courage and Commitment. Brewing “GREAT BEER for a “GREAT CAUSE. (Misspelled on tap handle). Drink up and support our Vets. Do I have to tell you? ! Summer brew with a touch of citrus. Tap is new and unused. 3D printed and individually hand painted, so it is not perfect. A nasty cobra is wrapped around this one with some really deep 3D letters. Red eyes, forked tongue and venom spitting fangs. Originally obtained through a special contact back in 2018. This tap and several others were individually crafted by Smitty on a 3D laser printer. Made in 2 pieces and painted by hand. Only a few exist. It was painfully time consuming, so pretty much the originals are just used in the bar. I spoke with Smitty back in the spring of 2019 and he sent me a video of his home spun tap making efforts. It was still a work in progress. I have only seen one other on the aftermarket. None were supposed to be available to the public. This is from my personal collection. I believe only 2 have ever seen. Tap handle has been turned and rotated so all sides are pictured. Kettle soured wheat ale with the addition of dried grapefruit peel and stone fruit flavor. Light and bright without the bite. Tap is new in original box. Super fine details on this one. The Great Cobra Scare of 1953 was in Springfield, Missouri. In the late summer a few of these never-before-seen exotic snakes were showing up. At first it was no big deal but then it turned in to an all-out panic. A cobra snake has wrapped himself around this fantastic handle. In his fangs he is holding a red heart with Mother’s Brewing Company written on a gold banner. Check out the snake bicycle tire. Very heavy and well-crafted piece. A really fine collectible.
