Here’s a very heavy antique tap knob faucet for a beer keg or soda fountain…. Chrome & solid brass with marble/stone ball knob handle… 16 1/2″tall x 7 1/4″wide when knob is down….. 2 3/8″long x 3/4″ threaded shaft….. A crack in the marble ball knob is kind of hard to see. Here are a pair of unbranded antique soda fountain tap handles with what appears to be either marble or alabaster round knobs. One has the black pour nozzle and one does not. The handles can be tightened and loosened by the knobs on side allowing the handles to move freely back and forth. The metal appears to be silver plate over solid copper or brass although there are no markings on these to prove it. The metal has some wear though to the plating. On the one with no black nozzle, it’s worn off the upper barrel under the handle and further down on the straight portion of the upper pipe. See photos 8 + 9. On the other, the wear is mainly on the top straight portion just past the barrel. Otherwise the finish has numerous small scratches, dings and wear but nothing at all bothersome. I have no idea how to install them or get them to function properly. The marble knobs appear in good undamaged shape but do have some tiny black specks here and there on the surface. As you can see this has been polished in spots, so it should clean up nicely. There may be a few areas where the brass shows throught. The marble knob handle is in excellent condition- no chips. Nice clean original handle knob for your Dole DELUXE fountain dispenser with some very minor pitting on chrome but should clean up nice. The dispenser and the SIGN are just shown for an illustration.
