When the city of Elk Grove closed the main street the brewery was located, the company went out of business. This tap handle was modeled after the owners dog, Otis. The material the handle is made from urethane which will never shrink or cause the paint to peal. The tap handle height is 12.75. EXTREMELY rare in this kind of pristine condition! ELK GROVE BREWING BIG BUT BLOND draft beer tap handle with stand. Originally founded in 1995. Closed within 5 years as of 2008. Big But Blond Ale. Big on flavor but light and blonde in color. A few other beers they had were Diamond Back Wheat, Otis Alt, Wrangler Red, Sloughhouse Pale Ale and Grainbarrel Stout. There other handles are amazing as well. This tap is listed as used. I really don’t think it was or if it was it wasn’t for a long time. They are very fragile and easy to break. This was made by Rich at Sculpture Concepts back in 1997. It has the look and feel like one of the originals. Comes with stand in picture. It remains in excellent condition and shows only shrinkage of materials that make wrinkles appear. There is no chipping or peeling of the paint at all. Super skinny with a real tight ass! The hand painted effects show what a real dirty blond looks like. It is very clean. Stands 13 inches tall. Tap has been turned and rotated till all sides are shown. This is the actual item you will receive. Stand is included on this one. Reweries are popping up all over the place and a select few advertise their Specialty beers with tap handles as nice as this one. Sometimes even factory handles have minor flaws.
