A bright red Scottish Terrier emerges from underground for the first time since the gold rush began. He stands proudly atop his mining cart full of gold with his trusty pickaxe and an ice-cold Red Dog Ale. The base pole is gold with a silver plate bearing the Red Dog Saloon name with the Red Dog mascot over the swinging bar room doors. Detailing and colors are exquisite. Stands 10-1/2 inches tall. Red Dog Saloon originated during the heydays of Juneau’s mining era in Juneau as a tent on the beach during the gold rush of the late 1800′s. The bar is amazing and the beer itself is absolutely delicious. Red Dog Saloon Red Dog Red Ale. Tap handle has been turned and rotated so all sides are pictured. Very good antique vintage original tap handle with some age and use wear including some tarnish and wear to the gold metal especially near the base and threads but nothing too bad for this rare handle!
